Getting an error message when Outlook opens

Hi - as of this morning I am no longer able to use Outlook 365. The app starts, then throws an error message stating that the app encountered a problem and needed to close in order to repair. I've selected "Repair" 4 times, but the error message returns every time I re-open the app. What's going on? This is keeping me from accessing my email. Please advise. Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for coming to the forum.

The first thing to try is to reboot your device and try opening outlook again, if it still continues do the below:

    Repair office

    1. Right Click on Start > Select Installed Apps or Apps and Features
    2. Scroll down until you see Microsoft 365 Apps
    3. Click the three buttons beside the Microsoft 365 Apps
    4. Select Modify
    5. Click Online Repair (this will take a while to be done)
    6. Restart the device

Click the (reference) link below for guidance https://support.office.com/article/7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

After the repair if the issue persists, do the below

sfc scan, see the steps below.

Click start and type CMD. Click Run as Administrator and in the terminal window type sfc /scannow

Please wait for it to complete and reboot.

    Give a reply

    Best Regards Fuad
