Authenticator App is asking for an Authentication code - what do I do?

I got randomly logged out of my outlook account and my Teams account on my phone. When I went to try and sign back in, it asked me for a code from the authenticator app. I went on the authenticator app and it no longer had my email in there... I'm trying to add my email back as a new account and the Authenticator app is asking me for a code FROM THE AUTHENTICATOR APP. seriously what the hell. stuck in this limbo and have not found any relevant or helpful information.

    Please note that this is a user-to-user forum which means a user is helping another user. We are not working for Microsoft. I am helping you as a user. We don't have access to users' accounts.

    I see. Since you’re using an organisational account, your IT admins are the ones who manage your organisation’s accounts. They will need to check your account and remove the authenticator (previous one) from your account. Then after you can add your account to the Authenticator app again.

    Hi Abdullah,

    This is an organizational/ work account which makes this an even bigger inconvenience.

    We don't have a proper IT department so no one from the company is able to help me at the moment.
