Hello

We are planning on using Universal Print with our E5 licenses. We have small HP Printers and 1 Ricoh MFP Printer. HP Printers are personal and Ricoh is shared printer. We have make sure print jobs are hold on the Ricoh printer and users have to release them instead of just directly printing.

Is this possible with Universal Print to hold the job at the printer or print server and user need to go to the machine to release it?

We are not looking for 3rd party addon.

Thank You in advance.

    HI MalikB-4315,

Is your printer support secure printing?

If your printer support this function, this function will hold on the print job and let user to go to the printer to enter pin code to print.

Yes it does and we are currently using it local Print Server environment but we need to use this in Microsoft Universal Print in Azure. We have deploy a test Ricoh MFP printer via Microsoft Universal Print. With Microsoft Universal Print we have no options to modify and use Secure print. That option is not visible.

JiaYou - Have you setup a secure print for Ricoh MFP with Microsoft Universal Print?
