Microsoft Web Based Version Shrinking Requiring Refresh to read or send emails!

Hey all,

I have been using the web version of Microsoft Outlook for quite some time now. In the past 6 months or so every time I use the web version the app shrinks my screen so that I cannot send or write emails/read full emails even when the screen is fully expanded. I have cleared my cache many times as well as my cookies and cannot for the life of me figure it out. I do not love Outlook on the built in version as it does not have the ability to make the reading pane reader friendly, nor does it have access to all other apps at my fingertips.

Please see attached to see what I mean as I am not sure I am describing my issue well.

Thanks!

    Dear Jessica Noles,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

It's possible that you're getting an error in your zoom settings. Try the following and check the results: Hold down Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel> press the Ctrl and Plus buttons> find the Zoom button and reset the zoom to 100%.

At the same time, please also check if the version of your browser is up to date, if not, please try to update your browser to the latest version.

Please also try different browsers to log in to OWA to check the results. (Microsoft Edge is better)

Also, please try logging into OWA (outlook web app) in your browser's privacy mode (incognito mode) to check for progress.

Hope you have a wonderful day and always stay safe!

    Sincerely,

Kerry Chen | Microsoft Community Moderator
