Email from "MSN Admin"

I have received 2 emails today from "MSN Admin" stating that "they are closing down all old versions of our mailbox effective tomorrow." Is this legit? How can I check?

    That is not a legitimate email from Microsoft. Please do not click on anything.

    Above the reading pane, select Junk > Phishing > Report to report the message sender
