Hi there,

came to this by accident, while trying to respond to bigger email with a need to save before break, then actually something breaks :-)

WORKS: When I start to respond to email by "reply" click, anywhere in the original text my input is tagged/prefixed with my string:

DOES NOT WORK: When I save such response and then re-open from draft section, it no more tags my inline response/comments/input.

It's O365 Ent subscription:

How to fix that?

Thank you, BR

Peter

    Dear PeterG_SK

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you!

Based on your description, I already have a general understanding of your problem, but in order to help you better, I still need to gather more information to narrow down the problem:

    • It seems that you are using the Outlook Desktop Client, please try logging in to OWA (Outlook web app) with your account and check if the same error occurs.
    • Please also kindly try to delete your signature and restart your Outlook client, then add the signature again and check the results.
    • In the meantime, please kindly provide me with a screenshot of your signature problem, and if you receive some error messages or error codes, please share the screenshot with me so that I can do further research.
    • What specific subscription information are you using?

Please kindly provide me with the above information I need so that I can do more research and testing, thank you!

Thanks in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated. Hope you all the best!

    Sincerely,

Kerry Chen | Microsoft Community Moderator
