Getting "couldn't send code. please try again." with 2fa on microsoft account./outlook

I was logging in just fine and then suddenly on my mobile, laptop, and all types of browser I started receiving said message any time I tried using my back up email with two factor. Fortuantly it works fine via phone and esge browser seems to auto log me in. So, I'm not locked out at all. Just frustrated.

My concern is that I've had a large number of unsuccessful login attempts to my account and I was only periodically checking to make dure the attempts were staying unsuccessful. Which they have not even making it past my password let alone 2 factor. But that said it's odd this issue starts now or maybe not since a quick search reveals both of these things to be fairly common.

But uh any idea why my 2 factor by emails bugged out?

Hello Effective! I'm Nelson an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I am hopeful that I will be able to help you find a satisfactory solution.

A security app might prevent your phone from receiving the verification code. Try disabling any third-party security apps on your phone, and then request that another verification code be sent.

You can also restart your Mobile phone.

    Thanks, hope this helps
