"Save the reply in the same folder" option

Hello!

Please, advise when the below function will be available on Outlook for Mac?

"When replying to a message that is not in the Inbox, save the reply in the same folder".

It just seems so odd that Outlook for Windows has had this option for years now, and Mac users don't have access to it.

Hello! Thank you for contacting Microsoft. My name is Ben and I am an Independent Advisor and as well as a long-time Microsoft user.

I totally understand you wanted for the said feature to become available on Mac. As far as my knowledge goes, there are no updates yet when it will become available on Mac since the OS of Windows and Mac are built differently.

But on my past experiences, one thing you can try is to create a virtual OS on your Mac that will run on a Windows operating system which can be done by Apple Support. There you may install and use Outlook to have this feature.

OL in Win sends the msg on the mail account it was received on, by default
