Cannot delete the previously synced Gmail Account

Previously I synced Gmail Account in Hotmail. Now I access "Settings: Mail: Sync email"; but now I cannot delete the sync Gmail Account. I can see the delete icon but when i click it there is no response.

    Thank you for your reply. However the issue is not at Gmail side. Gmail Account shows me no connected account. Gmail Email has unabbled IMAP or POP.

    I repeat issue that previously I synced Gmail Account in Hotmail. Now I access "Settings: Mail: Sync email"; but now I cannot delete the sync Gmail Account. I can see the delete icon but when i click it there is no response.

    So issue is under "managed your connected account", gmail email appears but delete or refresh icon are not working. And under last update it shows "update failed".

    The issue you have described is a question asked by a number of other people in recent days so suspect that this is an issue on the server side which can only be addressed by Outlook.com Support who have access to your account

    To contact Outlook.com support, log into your Outlook.com account using a browser and click on the ? (top right)

    #1 - Enter your question

    #2 - When the results are returned, scroll down to the end of the returned results and click on <Yes> under the question "Still need help?"

    #3 - Proceed accordingly

    Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users just like you helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum.

    I am having the same problem but with a private server, not gmail. I keep getting error messages daily that it can't sync the account in outlook live but when I try to update the sync, it just cycles indefinitely. If I try to delete the account, it does nothing,.

    If I understand you correctly, you want to delete the gmail account you synched previously on your Hotmail account correct? You’ll actually need to do this from the Gmail side of things and not on outlook.com. is something that needs to be done from the Gmail side of things - not Outlook.com.
