OWA not loading mailbox

I have a user that is trying to access his mailbox through the web using Chrome, when he launches the Outlook app through portal.office.com, he just gets the blue opening envelope on a white screen constantly and the mailbox doesn't load.

I have tried the below -

Opening the mailbox in an incognito Chrome window - works as expected.

Clearing browsing history, logging him back into O365 and then launching Outlook - this worked for a day before going back to not opening at all.

If I copy and paste the link from his browser into mine, my OWA mailbox opens straight away, so seems to be limited to his PC..

Does anyone have any other suggestions I can try please?

Dear TAOV ,

Thanks for choosing Microsoft community!

I have read your question carefully and done some research, please kindly ask your user to refer to the following suggestions:

  • At first please try to disable all Extensions: On your browser, click menu>Select More tools > Extensions>To turn off extensions, uncheck the Enabled box.
  • Clear all browsing data: On your browser, click menu>Click More tools > Clear browsing data>In the box that appears, check all and clear.
  • If problem persists, please try to change a different browser to check the result. If everything goes well in other browser, maybe you should update the Chrome browser or reinstall it to check the result.
  • In addition, please pay attention to this, you can login OWA again in this link to check the result: Sign in to Outlook (microsoftonline.com)

Hope this help you, if there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details. I am more than happy to continue to help you. I wish you a smooth new year and all the best!

Best regards,

Kerry
