With the new update to tasks. I am wondering where I find the search bar to find tasks that are in the future. I can't seem to use the search bar anymore as it will not search tasks alone. Finding future tasks is now an impossible task.

I want to do it IN outlook. This is where I live out of. It's a one stop shop. Having to always keep to do app open is a pain. Also a few other thoughts:

    1. I cant re-organize tasks within a single day anymore. Before you could hover and move them. In the to do app you never could and now on the to do feature of outlook you can't either. The organization of the tasks within a day is disorganized and provides me difficult figuring out what is the most important thing I need to do next.
    2. The new outlook task function also doesn't open a full window view of a task. It only pops open a small viewing window on the right of the screen. Notes within a task are hard to view, smaller and can not be formatted.

If you can help me with any of this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Is this using the new tasks on outlook? With the blue check mark icon? I previously did not have an issue searching tasks using the search bar at the top. But now when I search with this new updated tasks (as of the last 24 hours) it takes my search out of tasks and into my mail function as soon as I click enter. From here the different search features do not offer an opportunity to search 'tasks' just mailboxes... current, all etc.

Thank you for trying. This appears to be bugs in the update. How do I go about requesting them to fix them?

    For use without outlook:

Open the Microsoft To Do app on your device.

Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen.

Enter your search query, such as a keyword or task title.

As you type, Microsoft To Do will start displaying matching tasks in real-time.

If you want to specifically search for future tasks, you can include date-related keywords like "tomorrow," "next week," or specific dates.

By using relevant keywords and terms, you can narrow down your search and find the future tasks you are looking for. Microsoft To Do will display the matching tasks in the search results, allowing you to access and manage them accordingly.

Hi, James. I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem, and I hope I can assist you to find a satisfactory solution.

    Here are a few suggestions:

Check the task view: Ensure that you're in the appropriate view where you can search for tasks. In most task management applications, there is a dedicated "Tasks" or "To-Do" view where you can access and search for tasks.

Use specific search syntax: If the general search bar is not providing the desired results, try using specific search syntax to narrow down your search. For example, you can try searching for tasks with a specific due date by entering "due: [date]" or search for tasks with a specific tag by entering "tag: [tag name]".

Explore advanced search options: Some task management applications offer advanced search options or filters that allow you to refine your search based on various criteria such as date, status, priority, or assigned user. Check the application's settings or documentation to see if there are additional search options available.
