Cannot delete created sub-folder in Outlook
Hi Could you please help me on this question?
I created a sub-folder under inbox called OCR, but cannot delete it now...the delete folder function is showing grey when right click on it. In addition, when a new message arrived, the mail will go to the OCR folder if I click on "Archive" button.
Additional information:
1)Outlook version:
2)Running outlook in safe mode (Outlook.exe /safe), still can see the folder and cannot be deleted.
Folder also showing when using outlook web version, and cannot be deleted.
3)Account protocol: Microsoft Exchange
4)using company account like: ****panyname.com
5)problem has been detected almost 2 months.

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Forum.
If a folder contains items, Outlook will not allow you to delete it; however, you may move the items to another folder and then delete the old folder, or you can use the shift+delete keyboard shortcut to delete the entire content of the folder.
I recommend scanning the Outlook PST data file for any errors that are causing these issues. You should use the Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair tool to scan the PST data file. SCANPST.exe (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office%OfficeVersion%\SCANPST.EXE), you should also check If Outlook is in cached Exchange mode, then consider temporarily switching it off, restarting the outlook and check if the issue gets resolved.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
De Paul
