Template error - Outlook web

I accidentally deleted a template in Outlook for the web. I tried to recreate it, and suddenly I get an error message stating:

"This template is too large to save. Please make it smaller, then try to save it again."

This is THE EXACT SAME TEMPLATE that I just deleted by accident. Nothing was added or changed.

I have tried to start over and create a new template, over and over, but I get the same result.

    Hello,

    The template to be input is 16.4 KB. I've cancelled all but one template which is 13. 8 KB. Both should be able to reside in the My Templates. It is odd that when the templates were originally input, all of them were able to be uploaded. Was there a decrease in size for MY TEMPLATES in the past few years?

    Any other suggestions?

    Based on your post we understand you are encountering error in creating template in Outlook for web, but to move further, could you please confirm if you are using Microsoft personal mailbox service (Outlook.com) or Microsoft 365 business mailbox service? (Outlook.office.com)

    If you are using M365 business mailbox service, the error occurs if the total size of all templates in the My Templates app is more than 32 kilobytes (KB). The My Templates app has a total size limit of 32 KB for all templates, could you please help to double check the size for the template? Thanks.  More information please read Cannot save templates in My Templates - Exchange | Microsoft Learn

    or you can try to Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try to create the template again or Try using a different browser or device to create the template.
