Outlook Mac - Message Delay

Hi MS Teams,

We have a user who's Gmail account is set up in Outlook in Mac and she's experiencing delays in incoming and outgoing messages.

The Outlook status at the bottom is showing as "Connected and all folders are up to date" but some of the messages that were already received and is showing in the web version (Gmail) are still not coming into the Outlook client.

I have already tried to re-create the Outlook profile by following the steps provided here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-profiles-or-identities-in-outlook-for-mac-fed2a955-74df-4a24-bef6-78a426958c4c 

Any steps that you can recommend that I can try as there still a delay with the incoming and outgoing even after we recreated the outlook profile.

    Before we proceed, I would require more information to assist you accurately.

    1-may i confirm whether only the private email(gmail from your Mac) encounter the issue?

    besides, let us know the detailed outlook version.

    If you already create new profile and the issue still persist, then we need to identify whether this issue is related to outlook for mac client side issue or server side,

    2-could you send us the original mail headers of an email received in your mailbox.

    3-Did you go in outlook > preferences > accounts > advanced, change this setting:

    sync all imap folders every 2 minutes

    4-Make a test from your side, kindly send a message and check in your outbox from your outlook if you can see the email.

    The information above is very important for us to find out the cause and provide the right anwser

    To View private messages option > click on Profile Pictureat top of the right side > Select My Profile option.
