    Hi Ben,

It's been a while. I tried login with a different browser with clear cache and this message show up:

"Your security info change is still pending On 3/29/2023 you requested that your security info be replaced. Current security infoPhone number ending in 53 New security infoPhone number ending in 90 Your security info will be replaced after 30 days, on 4/28/2023. But don't worry, during the waiting period you can still sign in and use your Microsoft account normally. If you didn't request this, let us know.If you'd like to keep your current security info, you can cancel this request."

If I try to cancel the request, I am sent to a page that requires my old phone. There is no way out. Note the data that the system says that the new information should be updated (4/28/2023). What else is there to try?

    Best,

    Andre

That is strange as it should be for 30 days only. Can you try using a different browser to sign in your account? Or try clearing the cache of your current browser.

Also, after doing this if your account is currently signed in try to sign out first then sign in again to check if the message is still there.

    Thanks!

Yes, it is when I click on the "Activated" 2fa ink on that page. Cancelling it asks me to send a message to the old number, which I don't have anymore.
The 30 days period is over for a while now.

Hi! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community and hope you are doing well!

Just to confirm, are you seeing this message when signing in to your account via https://account.microsoft.com/security page? If you change your recovery information without having access to your current recovery phone or email it will then put the account on 30 day locked out period.

But after the 30 day is up, you should be able to access it again and the new recovery information should have been added. If it still shows that, try cancelling it there should be a button below the message then check whether your new recovery information has been added now.

Feel free to post back here how it goes and we will try with the best of our knowledge to assist.

    Kind regards,

    Ben
