hi

I cannot get any emails from my main email address. Anyone who tries to send them gets an unable to deliver notification. And I can’t see them and keep getting the error of unable to connect to server from iPhone. I’ve logged in directly. It shows old emails but again nothing new. I have other emails that are working but I need this one. Any ideas??

    Hello Danni Addis

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

At the same time, we express our sympathy for what has happened to you.

According to the /Outlook for mobile//iPhone or iPad/ category you posted, we know your problem is "Can't receive emails in Outlook for iOS and keep getting error unable to connect to server". Please feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong.

We can fully understand how you feel. Due to limited information and many reasons for the problem, we may need more details from you:

    1. It seems that other email accounts are working fine at the moment, only the main email address cannot be connected. Could you please confirm which domain possess the main email account, for example @Outlook.com/@Gmail.com/@iCloud.com
    2. If it is convenient for you, could you please try to log in to the web page of this email address to observe. And see if you can receive emails normally

The above two details help us to confirm whether the server cannot be properly connected due to account problems. The valuable clues you provide are the key to solving the problem.

In addition, if only certain accounts behave like this, try resetting the current account and then reopening the Outlook app to observe the problem:

    1. Click the icon in the upper left corner of the screen
    2. Tap the Settings gear (red box) in the lower left corner of the screen
    3. Under "Mail Accounts ," click the account with the search problem (green box)
    4. Click on the "Reset Account" option as shown:
