Conditional Formatting rules automatically deleting

Hi,

We have an internal inbox set up in Outlook on our server and I have created rules under the conditional formatting to recognize specific words and those emails will be in the inbox in a certain color - it works at first but about 15-20 minutes later, all of the rules that I created & saved, disappear

Why is it doing this?

I set them up exactly the same way as I have them in my personal outlook account and I have never had this issue.

    Hi Nickie Turner,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help.

Based on your description, it seems to be that you are having issues with the conditional formatting rules that automtically deletes the rule. Let's us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, I will do anything that I can to assist you with your concern.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • What specific email address you are having issues with? Just provide us the domain if it is on @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com or something else?
    • Can you please confirm on how do you access your email when sending and receiving emails? Is it through the Outlook mail application or on the Web browser?
    • Do you have a Microsoft 365 license? If yes, can you tell us the exact version name of your Office suite? Is it Microsoft 365 Family/Personal or for Business?

I look forward to your response.

    Sincerely,

    ReynaldoB
