Error: MigrationProvisioningPermanentException: Method not found:

Can someone please help me?

I am migrating only 40 users from Onpremise to Exchange online using cutover migration. I was able to perform cutover migration twice, however, on my third attempt it showed the below error. All the users get validated in initial sync, but get failed just after provisioning state and failing reason for all the users is the below error.

Migration rate: Error: MigrationProvisioningPermanentException: Method not found: 'Microsoft.Exchange.Collections.ReadOnlyCollection1<Microsoft.Exchange.Data.PropertyDefinition> Microsoft.Exchange.Data.ObjectSchema.get_AllProperties()'. --> Method not found: 'Microsoft.Exchange.Collections.ReadOnlyCollection1<Microsoft.Exchange.Data.PropertyDefinition> Microsoft.Exchange.Data.ObjectSchema.get_AllProperties()'.

Things I tried:

  • I deleted batch and all the migrated users (permanently using Powershell).
  • Start cutover migration again many times, nothing changed
  • Checked Direct Synchronization it is off
  • Checked admin has full access as mentioned in the article
  • Autodiscover is working fine and SSL has autodiscover.domain.com and mail.domain.com
  • EWS is working fine
  • Exchange online is connecting to OutlookAnywhere.

Thanks,

Vishal

    Hi Vishal Vasisth,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, when you perform cutove rmigration, you got error: MigrationProvisioningPermanentException: Method not found.

For this issue, I did some research and found that there are many people have reported this recently, and I also found you replie to one of the similar threads. Since you have tried many available troubleshooting steps, but they are not working, i susppect that there might be some problems in the back-end side.

Please comprehend that for our forum support, we provide general information on Microsoft365 products, but we do not hava the permission to check the issue from the backend, and we do not have a way to report/check back-end service issues. In this situation, we suggest you go to Office 365 Admin Center-> Support-> New Service Request. The support engineers there have the correct escalation channel, and this is the most efficient way to report such issue. You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket: Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help. The engineers in related team have higher permission and resources than us to help check the root cause from background directly.

I hope you can reach the higher level support and get the issue resolved under their assitance. If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day!

    Sincerely,
