Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments

Hello,
I have recently migrated from Windows to Mac OS, but as a Windows 365 user I'm keeping all Microsoft apps.
On windows, I used to have my mail accounts on Microsoft Mail, and now I'm using Outlook for this. My Outlook seems to be syncing all of my e-mail, though, since the account was created, using up to 16GB of disk space. Back on Windows, I remember I had the option to select how far in the past should the sync go. Can I do that on Outlook as well?
Obs: I'm using the so called "new" Outlook.
Thanks in advance!

Ok, Thank you very much, that saved me a huge amount of time :)
No it doesn't have the option either.
You can switch to the "old" outlook from the Outlook app menu - depending on your build/version, you'll either uncheck New Outlook or select Legacy Outlook.
Thanks for you quick reply, Diane,
Do you know if the "Old" Outlook, also available at Mac OS, have that option somewhere?

No, not that this time. The mac version of Outlook syncs everything.
