Outlook IOS sync issues....

Hitting an Office 365 mailbox. IOS Outlook has been working fine for months, but for the last few weeks has been exhibiting a strange issue.

I get notifications of new email messages on my lock screen on the IPHONE, but when I fire up Outlook and click the In Box the messages are not there.

I have tried using Reset Account, but I never get passed the Updating... screen. I have to uninstall Outlook, go into Mobile Devices on Outlook.com and delete the device, reinstall it on the IPhone, add the account and sync'ing starts working again. 24-36 hours later, email stops sync'ing again, though the new messages DO appear on the lock screen.

I also am running Outlook on my IPADs (same account) and have no issue. It is only on the IPhone.

I was running 15.x IOS and just upgraded to 16.2 IOS and the issue is the same.

Any help would be appreciated!

    48 hours is about right for me as well.

    Interestingly enough in my case, my IPAD does not exhibit this behavior. It continues to work as expected. It is only my iPhone that stops sync'ing. Curious, if you have it installed on more than one device?

    Disappointing that we haven't heard anything from Microsoft on this.

    I have the same issue since August and it is always around 48 hours then it stops syncing, but yes it pops up in notifications for new emails. If I uninstall and install the iOS app again, it can work again but only for 48 hours again then it stops. It is very annoying
