I am an EA and constantly have to add attachments to various calendar invites so that my bosses have access to the papers when they are in the meeting. But I cant seem to be able to do that anymore. Is that a Microsoft issue or what has changed. We have had no changes in our IT systems.

    HI Kerry

It does not work that way. There is no option to attach something. there are little paperclips but they are shaded.

    Dear Pauline Smit

Good day! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you!

First of all, we apologize for the problems and inconveniences caused to your work! Based on your description, adding attachments to a meeting after it has been created is still possible in Outlook for Windows. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Open the meeting in your calendar.
    2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
    3. Click on the "Attach File" button.
    4. Browse to the file you want to attach and select it.
    5. Click "Insert" to attach the file to the meeting.

If you still can't use this feature successfully, then I still need to collect more information to narrow down the scope of question

    • First please kindly share your meeting page with me, thanks.
    • Are you using classic outlook for windows or new outlook for windows?
    • What's your outlook version? Please kindly share me screenshot, thanks.

Thank you in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!

    Sincerely
