"Folder does not support reminders"

Just got this error message when moving an existing event: “The Reminder will not appear because the item is in a folder that doesn’t support reminders.” It's in the same calendar (under My Calendars) that I've been using for years.

Outlook 365 Version 2209 (Build 15629.20156 Click-to-Run) in Windows 10.

Thanks for assistance.

Thanks Anesu. The problem hasn't repeated and I haven't been able to recreate, so it maybe it was a one-time glitch. I'll post back if that changes.

    Dear David Bergman New School,

Thank you for the reply and update.

If you may get a chance to reproduce the same scenario in Outlook web Application(OWA) this would be awesome. It will help us a lot to isolate the concern, meaning if it happens in OWA too the scenario is probably related to your email account settings/Organizational/Server settings but if it only happens in Outlook For windows only then it is a client issue. Both scenario's are troubleshot differently.

I kindly wanted to know if you may have access to test on OWA (https://outlook.office.com/)?

We look forward to your response, Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

Thanks Anesu. I wasn't actually moving it to a different calendar. I was just dragging it to a slightly different time within the same personal calendar in My Calendar.

I don't use the web application.
