Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hi, yes I do
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have a new laptop and am having trouble looking into my hotmail.co.uk email account. I reset my password which seemed to work. However, when I go to log in, it asks me to verify online. The email address listed I no longer have, so I click on that option (I don't have either of these). I then go round in circles as I think I have enabled the 2 step verification. I created a new hotmail.com account (eve_******@hotmail.com) in the hope that that would help, but it hasn't. I really need into my hotmail.co.uk account so please can someone help?

Hi, yes I do
Thanks for the additional details. In this case, you can request security info update instead. When you click on forgot password link, send the code to the security info you still have an access to. When you're ask to send another code, select you don't have any of these. Click No on Recovery code and you should be able to request security info change. I'd like to set your expectation that this will take 30 days to complete.

Hi, Eve.
I'm Jen, I'm also an Outlook user just like you. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.
I understand you are having trouble accessing your Microsoft account. Aside from your alternative email address, do you still have access to your other security info?
Hope to hear from you.
Can you access that mail account in your web browser?
Using MS Outlook, a component of some Office versions, the win11 mail app or what?
In outlook web settings is two factor turned on, or ate you prompted to use the 'Authenticator'?
