Outlook for Mac Formatting issues

Question

Out of my frustration with Outlook and Word for Mac I've managed to screw up all my default formatting and can't get it restored - I've searched endlessly for details on what those default settings are and I can't find anything!

Q) How do i restore Outlook and Word to default formatting settings like indents etc?

Q) Why is it that my bullet items appear lined up while I'm composing the invite but become misaligned once it's sent?

Example:
I create tables for my agendas in Outlook meetings and anytime i have a long sentence that runs over to the second line while it appears to be aligned succinctly in my view it becomes misaligned the moment i hit send! Specifically with bulleted items!

This is my personal device It just so happens that i'm logging in with my exchange account so the version of Outlook wouldn't' be managed my company's IT tech dept. I need your help if possible. Thanks

Thank you for responding so quickly. Here is the version screenshot you requested. I'm trying to create another table now as i use them many times a day and every time it's the same issue. I've even tried creating in WORD and then copying over to Outlook but it's the same formatting issues I've experienced in the past. It's terribly frustrating.
