The save button is missing from the top left of my screen on the quick access toolbar. When i go into the options, "save" isn't even there for me to restore it back to my QAT. There is a "save as," but this saves the email to my hard drive. I want the "save" button that was there that saved the email as a draft in my drafts folder. what am i missing? i'm using office 365 for home use.

I had an option to just save to my drafts. I write long technical emails sometimes and the auto save feature is only every 3 or 4 minutes I believe and I like to save sometimes more often than that if I just edited a big chunk of text. thank you for your reply, but I'm still interested in learning how to get that save option back that was there a few days ago, but is now MIA.

In MS Outlook If you create a new mail, dont send, but close that msg, it will be saved to drafts automatically, you only 'save' a mail if you want to save it in msg format to your HD
