Shuffled Slideshow in Windows 10 Desktop.

Dear Microsoft Team,

I would like to suggest Microsoft debugging the slideshow algorithm of the background image personalization feature (in Windows 10 desktop). Currently, when the "shuffle" option is enabled, different images are supposed to be displayed, taken from a user-selected folder. However, when the folder contains some 800 images, the random algorithm that chooses the images to be displayed in the desktop does not work properly. In other words, a few images are displayed several times (repeatedly) and other images are never displayed. Apparently, the random sequence upon which the images are chosen is corrupted. I suggest you correct this.

    About this question , we suggest you give feedback on the settings screen>Give feedback so that Microsoft team will get the direct information and we will debug this algorithm as fast as we could.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have done that. However, I expect no answer based on previous feedback that I have provided. The "Give feedback" link redirects you to the Feedback Hub app but there, the visibility of user feedback is very low, let us say null. The Feedback Hub system says that the Microsoft team will look at your issue. However, in my experience using Feedback Hub there is no reply or follow-up to your issues. Any other suggestion?

    Dear Miles-MSFT,

    At first, I was interested in the Windows Insider Community but the feedback there is also donde through the Feedback Hub app. So, there is no difference. However, I will keep it in mind for future creation of new suggestions for Windows 11.

    i also experienced the same problem. however, turning off "sync settings" in settings>users>sync worked for me.

    if the problem still persists i change the wallpaper settings (to single picture or color etc) then change it back it works fine again. hope it helps
