authentication error while trying to log into outlook

I am getting an error occurred during authentication while trying to log into Outlook. I have been using Outlook for a good few years, but last night it stopped responding. I logged out to try to resolve the issue but now cannot log in. I can log into my Microsoft account so the password is correct

    having issues installing outlook on my new phone. outlook is telling me i have problems during the authentication process. I uninstalled outlook and also cleared the app. any other solutions?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply and providing Information.

    Please reboot your Phone and see if you are able to login to Outlook App.

    If issue still persists then Uninstall Outlook App then Clear app cache

    Install Latest version of Outlook App from PlayStore the configure your account again.
