With regards to your issue, if this is a University email you may need to contact your administrator first to activate your account and confirm whether it can be setup via mail app already.
If your account was created already, try logging in via https://portal.office.com page this should be the login page for University of Business accounts.
It would be easy to register the account after as soon as your administrator allowed everything.
