OUTLOOK Closed while you had open items" WRONG

Every time I open Outlook and it says "OUTLOOK Closed while you had open items" I did NOT have open items !!!

    I have this problem too. I no longer have anything listed under Startup Options (Outlook 2019)

    Just to say I also have this spurious message when opening Outlook (started happening about a week ago) and dont have any access to Start Up Options :-(

    Haven't found any explanations or solutions on the internet either as yet.

    Hello I am receiving the same error, How ever when i look at the Start up option i have nothing that can be changed or selected

    I may have found the solution by going into apps locate office and select modify and then select the repay option. I selected the first option and followed the prompts.

    At this stage it appears to resolved the problem.
