Is it scam?

Hi,

I received the following e-mail from "no-reply@microsoft.com", got 2 actually. It looked so legit and I stupidly thought my account was in fact compromised... Well, I did click on the "Report The User" button which lead me to send the e-mail you see below as well...

When I saw the e-mail it was sending to I thought it was weird but sent it anyway... Then, FINALLY thought about searching the situation and realized it was scam... Now, should I be worried that I actually clicked the button and sent the e-mail?! Will they be able to do anything from that?

In the meantime changed my password to a stronger one.

Also, as I was logged into my microsoft account, I went to the security section and on the Login Activity saw my logins today and a login from an IP located in Korea on 23/10/2022, which was not me. It said "Unsuccessful synchronization" and "Don't worry. This login attempt was unsuccessful".

So it seems there was actually someone trying to log into my account (even if it had nothing to do with the e-mails).

Can I do anything else to make sure my account is safe?

I will activate the two-step verification later as well.

Thanks in advance (and sorry for my dumbness!)

    Please take the following actions:

Dear Cátia, I have read message and you had great job that you have reset your password and check your Microsoft account security but try to enable 2FA authentication as soon as possible you can and keep monitoring your account on web on the security tab in case you notice any other device try to login your account or notice that your account logged in from any other location.

If in case this happen again reset your Microsoft account password and try to add on your password 10 to 12 characters, use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Make sure to block the sender email address, for more information please check the article below which is related to your issue:
