Android Outlook Client cannot add multiple mail accounts

Question

brand new pixel 7 mobile

downloaded outlook

added hotmail account

tried adding any other email accounts and get "This account can't be added right now" error.

get that error when trying to add additional email address but before getting chance to enter p/w.

tried on/off wifi, clearing cache, deleting app, setting up gmail account first - all no difference????

any ideas?

definitely a bug with the client as could add multiple emails on previous versions of clients (on earlier version of pixel device)

Based on information you provided, it seems Outlook for android cannot be added two or more email accounts. If l misunderstood something, please correct me.

l am using same version of Outlook for Android as you, but different mobile phone and Android system version. Therefore, l cannot identify if it is a bug with your mobile phone. But l tried and can add additional email accounts from my Outlook for Android.

May l know what kind of email accounts do you want to add? We need to make sure the accounts are supported firstly. We can add accounts from Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Exchange Server (2007 SP2, 2010, 2013), Outlook.com (including Hotmail, Live, and MSN), Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo! Mail.

fully patched new Pixel 7 so feels like a bug in the Android Outlook client (version 4.2302.1)
