Outlook notes Gone?

Recently I've noticed that my outlook notes are gone. When I log into my account the notes tab is still there and it says I have 36 notes but I navigate to the tab nothing loads and it says "Click here to create a new note." I've made no changes to my account that would affect this in the last 30 days. Any clues or hints as to what might be causing this?

Hi Redletters,

Greetings

Welcome to Microsoft Community Forum.

May I know what version of Outlook are you using?

Generally users can restore deleted Outlook Notes from “Deleted Items” folder, so we would like to suggest you to double verify there is no Outlook Notes appeared in your deleted folder. If Outlook notes is not there, try to open your Outlook in safe mode and check if you are able to see the contents of the notes from Outlook notes and from deleted folder.

  • Hold Windows key + R.
  • Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:
  • outlook.exe /safe

If the above step fails, you may also try repairing the PST file and check if it helps, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-HA010075831.aspx. Please back up your data and then repair your PST file.

Let us know the result.

Kind regards,

Simbarashe
