I understand the issue only happens when using mobile Chrome on your phone. If you were able to confirm that your filter settings are correct but the issue persists on mobile chrome, I would suggest clearing browsing data and see if it will make any difference. I have also checked every setting and found no option to further change the filter settings while signing in to mobile chrome. It might also be a good idea to submit feedback regarding this by tapping on the icon with your initial then scrolling down and tapping on Feedback.
To stay signed in, tap on the ellipsis then scroll down and tap on Settings. Go to Passwords and enable Auto sign-in.
