Nothing. You can't stop people who know your email address from trying to break into your mailbox. Unfortunately this is the "side effect" of having 2 factor authentication. Scammers will wear you down by requesting a second factor (code). They are quite an annoyance.

Hello Sean! My name is Mustafa, I will be assisting you today

Note: This is a user-to-user support forum and I am a fellow user who doesn't work for Microsoft.

I can't do anything because I am just a normal user like you are, but you can take steps to make your account more secure.

First refer to this article on how to check your recent sign-in activity: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Make sure that there are no sign-ins that don't belong to you. If there are any sign-ins that don't belong to you then you should change your password and choose to log out of all devices.

Refer to this article from Microsoft on how to make your account more secure: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Start using Microsoft authenticator, you can learn how to do it in this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

And also use two-step verification: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Warm Regards,

    Mustafa
