Outlook android app email display

I have my Outlook app set up the way I want it - almost! There's one option that is slightly bothering me and was wondering if there might be a fix.

I can illustrate. I have conversations in my inbox showing the newest at the top, but replies show newest at the bottom. I would like newest replies within conversations to also show newest at the top. For example, if 3 represents an old email, and 1 represents a new email, my inbox looks like this:

  1. Conversation:

>>>3. Original

>>>2. ...

>>>1. Newest Reply

  1. Second Conversation
  2. Old Conversation

But I would like it to look like this:

  1. Conversation:

>>>1. Newest Reply

>>>2. ...

>>>3. Original

  1. Second Conversation
  2. Old Conversation

Is there a way to sort my replies to appear in this way? The current configuration is simply confusing to me.

Thanks!

    Hello NJattorney4u

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Hope you are doing well

According to the / Outlook for mobile / Android category you posted, we know that you need to customize the style of the mail display template according to your personal needs.

After our tests and inquiries, the current Outlook for Android does not have the ability to customize your email styles for the time being, because it is limited by the system of the mobile terminal. This kind of function may be more realized in Outlook for Windows. Because it is based on Windows system , the functions developed by Outlook will be more comprehensive.

Of course, Microsoft cherish users' ideas and committed to giving users the best experience. You could also try to send this idea to the design team. If a large number of users need this function, I believe they will listen to the voice of users and release more custom functions in future versions. .

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Best regards,
