Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Sorted, I think. No returns/bounces for half an hour. It was in the rules.
Thank you so much, it has been a real pain.

Referred here by support agent whom have been unable to solve my issue.
When people send emails to my apple address they get a message saying email cannot be delivered to ******@outlook.com. -( see below) I get the email and cannot understand how the outlook address is involved. After discussions with your support agents I was instructed to recover the ******@outlook.com
I cannot recover it because it says that the address does not exist but when I try and create it , it says it is already in use.
It was suggested that I close my old microsoft account with you - ******@risumbe.com and open another - kendpurchase@gmail to see if that would solve it. It has not. I have never used ******@outlook.com but a long time ago it may have been an alias for risumbe.com
I am desperate for help - have spent hours with support agents.
First step must be to get ******@outlook.com up again so the bouncing on my apple email stops. I have never changed anything and this problem just started out of the blue but may have been when you changed me from Office16? to 365.
Thank you
Kenneth Purchase

No Rules configured either?
Just to be sure; Your iCloud address that people send to is an @icloud.com address, right?
Thanks, have looked in Icloud settings but it is empty. So still bouncing.
You most likely have configured you iCloud Mail to forward to your (now discontinued) Outlook.com/Hotmail mailbox.
In iCloud Mail on the web, click on the Settings icon in the top left-> General-> option: Forward my email to
Note that Microsoft Accounts (which also include your Outlook.com/Hotmail mailbox) can be deleted after more than 2 years of inactivity.
