Outlook Image Caching Problems

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping that someone can help me with a problem I'm having. I am attempting to insert easily changeable images into signatures. I have a public facing image link, which I want to be able to save over and re-upload - thus changing the image. However, when I put the link for this image into my outlook signature (both through the "insert" function and inserting as pure html), the image does not update. My only guess is that outlook is somehow caching/saving the image itself rather than the url? Is there a way to make this work?

    Dear AshleyCNM,

Good day! Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community. I am happy to assist you.

As per your description, you would like that the image link can shift to an image when you insert the image link to the signature. If l misunderstood , please kindly correct me. Based on your requirement, we have checked at our side and seems at this moment it isn’t feasible to achieve it.

In Outlook, your signature can include text, images, your electronic business card, a logo, a link or even an image of your handwritten signature. You can select the Picture icon, locate your image file, and select insert. If you want add links, choose Hyperlink icon, enter the web address in the Address box, then choose OK.

For conference: Add a logo or image to your signature   Insert Hyperlinks in your email signature
