The verification from HP is sent but not received by my hotmail account. I can't use my printer until I have the code from said email.

Can you tell me what HP stated when you asked them?
It is possible to add the email address for HP to the safe emails on the computer.
Please sign in online.
Click on the Settings.
View all Outlook settings
Click on Mail and Spam
Click on Safe senders and domains
Click Add
Add HP.com
Please let me know if you continue to have a problem.

Please make sure you have the correct email address listed on HP.
Please check the spam and deleted folders to see if you can find the email.
See if you have a rule for HP. You may have set a rule to move the folder or delete emails from HP.
Here is a link to HP support. They should be able to assist you with this problem.
