    We waited a few days to see if the error occurred again. During this time, unfortunately, the error occurred again. So the cache deletion you suggested only provided a temporary improvement. Then, after deleting the config information and logging in again, we saw that the error was fixed, so far the problem has not occurred again. If the error occurs again and this process does not work, I will provide information sharing with you again. For now, I can say that we fixed the problem with the command below, but remember that with this command, all your Teams settings will fly.

    Thanks Thanks @Sharon Zhao-MSFT

    rm -rf .config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams/

    @YasinK-9537,

    Could you share with us if any steps can reproduce this problem?

    I recheck the contact page many times but no such phenomenon.

    To determine if this is a Linux desktop client problem, please try logging in Teams web client(https://teams.microsoft.com) and observe the result.

    If it works well in web client, It is suggested to clear your client cache by running the following command:
    rm -r ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams\ -\ Insiders

    I had the same problem on ubuntu 18.04, removing the Teams config seems to have solved the problem

    I noticed this bug occurred frequently when scrolling through chat or opening the chat when in a meeting

    I'm experiencing the exact same problem with Ubuntu 18.04.5 and Teams 1.4.00.13653 (64-bit). Deleting the cache fixed the issue temporarily, but it came back as soon as the laptop was put to sleep and opened again.

    At some point I thought it was related to the Teams client window zoom being set to something else than 100 %, but the problem appears also with 100 % zoom.

    The problem did not appear with older version of either Ubuntu or the Teams client, but after an update to some component / library, it started happening. Unfortunately I don't have version history of everything installed in the computer from before and after the moment the problem appeared.

    Same problem in ubuntu. Deleting doesn't help. I tried latest insiders but anything later then 1.4.00.7556 is badly broken. I have either invisible screen or white square. Microsoft doesn't care about linux compatibility for this project I guess.
