Microsoft Teams not updated for non-admins users

Dear All,

We used Group Policy to deploy Teams in batch but recently we found that those PCs for non-admin users are not automatically updating Teams and showed below issue (they can not update it by themselves due to AD restrictions). We didn't make any change on this deployment policy and I also confirmed that all of them were installed under user profile AppData folders. https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-cn/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/known-issues/teams-doesnt-automatically-update this link didn't help.

Any ideas?

    @EavenHuang-0590,

    Do you mean that your organization updates all Teams clients by group policies?

    If so, it will not be finished. The reason is Teams doesn’t give admins the ability to deploy updates through and delivery mechanism. For more information, you could read this article.

    Given that, your IT admin can clean up the Teams deployment and redeploy Teams with the latest package by this link.

    Last but not least, giving the permissions of Teams auto update for each user. You organization will gain benefit from it.
