Not working In-folder advanced filter view settings when custom searching

Greetings,

I have a contact, lets call her, October Night <******@company.net>, that sends daily emails which are important for the day but become irrelevant afterwards, and when searching for a projects's history records, those emails from October spam much of the results.

I've tried following the suggested method from SysToolGroup to no avail.

https://www.systoolsgroup.com/how-to/exclude-a-folder-from-outlook-search/

I included the advanced filter of All Mail fields -> From

-> Contact -> doesn't contain -> October

or October Night

or ******@company.net

and when searching again it still shows a bunch of emails from October Night. What's more, this method does not seem to be permanent as the website suggest because when re-open Outlook the custom search criteria is gone.

I am looking for a way to have this filter permanently applied when searching for anything in my inbox folder or any folder
