Cannot publish calendar

Hello. I seem to be having trouble trying to publish my calendar so I can get the ICS link.

It was working previously but now I cannot seem to get the calender to publish, I have followed the normal setup e.g.

On outlook web, go to outlook settings > Calendar > Shared calendars > Publish a calendar

I am able to view the calender name I want to publish when I select this option, however the option is ignored and the dropdown is closed without selecting that option.

(the calendar I want to publish is a office 365 account).

What I have done now is created a new agenda.

Moved it up above the default calendar.

After this I could use settings -> View all Outlook settings -> Shared calendars, I could select the default calendar in the drop down menu and not the newly created calendar.

This workaround does actually help. Thank you. Still hope Microsoft will fix the issue though!

The way I read the original post by Usm10, the Publish Calendar option is not missing - it is there, but it is impossible to select your main calendar in the drop down list. When you do, you are returned to the same view with no calendar selected. I am able to select secondary calendars of mine, but not the main one.

I started researching this after one user submitted a ticket describing this mysterious problem. I went into my own Outlook on the web, unpublished my calendar, and was unable to select it to publish it again.

So it seems to be a problem for more than just a few...?

Hope Microsoft can acknowledge that this problem exists, and find a way to mitigate it.

I am having the same problem as usm10 describes. The "Publish calendar" option is not missing; the problem is that when I try to select "Calendar" from the drop down menu under "Publish calendar", the calendar is not actually selected and I am unable to generate an ics link. So I do not think it is the same issue as would be addressed by the suggested solution (Publish Calendar option is missing from Calendar settings in Outlook on the web in Microsoft 365.)
