Problem renewing password.

I can't access my emails on my mobile phone. I have tried to renew the password (can't remember) by answering all the security questions including the ones that require me to identify email addresses and subject matter of my recent contacts by email. I'm failing to go past these security checks as the responses are deemed inadequate. What can I do next?

    Hi Jacob,

    Thanks Jacob. The problem is now resolve. Your response was the reassurance I needed because I had been trying for a few days. I think the problem was that I was trying to change the password on the mobile phone and Android was not taking up the process readily. I used my PC this time and it worked on the first attempt.

    Alright, thanks for the information. Any chance you saved the password on your browser? You could check if your browser is set to save your passwords.

    Apologies. I didn't answer your question. By the way, I'm having this problem when trying to access my emails on my mobile phone. I saved the password on my laptop but I have come to depend on the mobile phone as it enables on the go access. So, by my reckoning, it should have been way before Christmas since I got onto my emails on the mobile phone.

    May I ask when you last successfully logged into this account? I have to say that the only way to recover an account with a forgotten password is through the automated account recovery form you appear to have tried. There's no other way than this. Also, the form applies if 2-step verification hasn't been enabled and you have successfully logged into the account within the last year. You can submit the form up to twice a day until you succeed. Below is Microsoft's guidance for using the form:

    I realize that this may be disappointing, but this is the only answer there is.
