Having difficulty opening Outlook for my business account. I have downloaded the App on my phone and get to the point where Authenticator gives me a temporary password but there is no place to input the password. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

    Dear Dave Flaten,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing your business account on Outlook for iOS. It sounds like you're encountering an issue with the Authenticator app.

To clarify, are you trying to sign in to your business account using the Authenticator app as a two-factor authentication method? If so, you should be able to enter the temporary password provided by the app into the password field on the Outlook login screen.

If you're not seeing a password field on the login screen, May I please double confirm if your Outlook for iOS is latest version? You may check for updates by going to the App Store and searching for "Outlook" under the "Updates" tab and update to see the difference.

If you're still having trouble after updating the app, could you please provide us with the screenshot of the issue and your Outlook version details?

I look forward to your update. Kindly note that the above requested information is required for further analysis and troubleshooting of your situation. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Libeamlak | Microsoft Community Moderator
