the question is, if this is a seen every day she need to keep open all these application open at any given time of her day to day work. can some body guide what should be the best configuration she should have for smooth working of her pc and her other office associates.
at times she is complaing that pc is getting hung or non responsive , earlier she had windows 8.1 , now system boot has become fast but her tally prime is running slow.
Tally is a popular accounting software in India, but how modern and good and fast it is? no benchmark is available , there is no way for me to know. can somebody say some thing abot this ? over all i have seen Tally Prime or old Tally ERP 9 both in multi user operation becomes slow, its some sort of file propietory Data Storage system, i dont think its database is as fast as SQL.

Hi
There are several causes which can slow down your PC .
1.Running out of RAM (Random Access Memory)
2.Running out of disk drive space (HDD or SSD)
3.Old or fragmented hard drive
4.Too many background programs
5.Too many startup programs
6.Falling behind on Windows or driver updates
7.Malware or viruses
8.Special effects and visual features
We could check the above information first , then as DSptrick describes, we could make contacts with tally support for help to troubleshoot performance problems.
