Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC Entry - License

Question

Does a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC Entry license come with an ISO file? I am looking to purchase a license through a distributor, but they said only Microsoft can confirm if the License will come with the ISO image file.

Your vendor should know that, but the license come from two way possible;

• The license come as a sticker if bought as a media (retail/oem card box). (in such form you have a physical media)
• The license to use will be on your VLSC/eOpen portal if you buy it via a open license. (in such form you have access to the ISO and license)

I think the vendor talked to you the second option, as in the portal you can download the ISO from there, but you will see the matching license from the portal.

So yes, if you buy a VLSC license you have access to the ISO.

In general, license doesn’t come with an ISO file, but you could ask for ISO from the seller.
If you buy Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC license from VLSC, you could download LTSC 2019 ISO directly from VLSC.
