How do I get my verification code when the other email needs a verification code?

I need to verify my email with my older email. When I go to log into my older email to get the verification code, it says I need to get a verification code from the newer email. How do I get a verification code if I cannot log into either email?

Hello Tashina P ! My name is Jeremy and I’m happy to help you with your question.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble recovering your account.

Do you have access to the phone number associated with the account?

You may be able to choose for a change password to be sent to the recovery phone number instead as a short fix if you are just trying to get into your account.

If this isn't possible you will need to begin the account recovery process outlined in the support link below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

Unfortunately if you cannot provide the necessary information needed to complete the recovery form and you don't have access to the back up email set up on the account, then you wont be able to recover the account.

You can submit the form 2 times per day.

If there are questions that do not pertain to you please leave them blank.

Here are some more tips for filling out the form.

I understand losing an account is frustrating however, the security is set in place to ensure that it is the person that owns the account that is trying to recover it.

There is not any alternative to the form.
