Outlook Crashing

I am on a Mac Mini (Late 2014 Intel Processor) running Monterey 12.6.9

I tried to switch to the classic version of Outlook in order to set up rules and it now crashes on startup. Do i need to reinstall Outlook in order to revert to the new version?

Thanks.

~ James

    Hello James,

    Thank you for your response.

If you are using the new outlook for mac, for now, this only supports server rules, and these need an exchange account. Ref: Create a rule in Outlook for Mac - Office Support (microsoft.com). If you are using another email account type like IMAP or POP, you can set up and use client rules in the legacy outlook.

In case you have any further queries, please let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.

    Thank you!

May I ask a follow up question. How can I set up rules in Outlook (mac)? When I select rules it tells me that they are not supported.
