Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Dear Anna Santos3,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "To Do app disappeared."
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the To Do app in your Outlook desktop app.
- Have you checked if the To Do app is hidden? Right-click on the left-hand toolbar and select "Customize Navigation Pane". Look for the To Do app in the list of available options and make sure it's not hidden. If it is, select it and click "Add".
- Have you checked to make sure the "Show Apps in Outlook" setting is unchecked? If yes, check it and uncheck it again later; Go to File > Options > Advanced uncheck "Show Apps in Outlook". Please refer to Use To Do app to manage Tasks in Outlook - Microsoft Support.
- Have you checked to make sure outlook is not set to open tasks using Outlook tasks? Make sure the "Open tasks in the To Do app" is checked? Go to File > Options > Tasks, uncheck "Open tasks in the To Do app" setting.
If none of these steps work, you may need to repair your outlook or reinstall the app.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
