Syncing main calendar folder with subfolder

I use a CRM that has a calendar syncing function with Outlook. The problem with it is, in order for the CRM to link to Outlook, it creates a sub-folder within the main Outlook calendar, and syncs both ways specifically with that sub-folder. This is fine, except that if we have events come in via email, when we accept those events, they do not appear or sync in that sub-folder, only in the main calendar folder.

Is there a way to sync all activities in the main calendar folder with a sub-folder? I've tried messing with rules to send calendar invites to the specific sub-folder, which works, but when I accept the invitation, it disappears from the sub-folder, since the rule only applied to the invite specifically. Looking for a solution here so that the sub-folder can house everything between the CRM and the main calendar.

Thanks.

    Hello Kevin Howard3,

Thank you for posting your reply in Microsoft Community.

Unfortunatily there is no direct way to Sync two calendars in Outlook, however there are some add-ins that can help you achieve this.

In this Microsoft community discussion about Sync multiple calendars in one | Microsoft Community multiple solutions were presented such as add-ins and Power Automation.

We suggest that you use Microsoft Power automate to create a flow that syncs the two calendars. you can start with Microsoft Power Automate documentation | Microsoft Learn

We are happy to provide any further assistance if needed.

    Best regards

    Hi Eleni,

I'm not sure what Dynamics 365 is - we do not use this. I also don't exactly have a brief to share other than what was in my original question, as what I'm looking for is whether or not the main outlook calendar can sync directly with a sub-calendar (I believe this is technically just called a sub-folder).

The CRM that we use (RedTail), in order to sync with Outlook, creates this sub-calendar folder within the main Outlook calendar. Redtail will only sync back and forth with this sub-calendar folder, not the main calendar. The issue that we are having is that if someone sends meeting invites or requests via email, the accepted invitation only appears in the main calendar, not in the sub-folder. We need it to appear in the sub-folder, or we need the main calendar and sub-folder to sync so that all of the data is identical.
